George W. Barnhiser of Seneca County, Ohio

1850 Ohio Federal Census taken on September 3, 1850
Big Spring Township, Seneca County, Ohio

George W. Barnhiser, son of John Barnhiser and Susannah Brown Barnhiser, was born circa 1837 in Maryland.  Little George made the long journey with his family across the wilderness from Maryland to Seneca County, Ohio where his father purchased land and farmed.

The Barnhiser's seemed to have chosen patriotic figures to name their sons, so it is my guess that George W. was George Washington Barnhiser.
