St. Joseph Vacation--Wednesday and Thursday

We got our "vacation business" out of the way and have spent the past two days lazing around and on the beach. The weather has been perfect. Yesterday I did get a bit of a burn here and there. Who knew that suntan lotion and sun block could become out of date!

Along with some beach shots, I do want to feature this one house that we walk by daily on our way intown. As readers of Flipside know, I do have an interest in architecture, especially buildings with unusual features. This one fits the bill. It's called the Davidson House, former home of John and Sarah Davidson, built in 1892. It is a Queen Anne styled house with the original fish scale shingles. The shingles were the draw for me.
