FIRST BLOGOVERSARY for FLIPSIDE

I can hardly get my arms around the fact that I have been blogging for one year. I actually stayed with it!!! Too often I have a running start at various projects only to leave them by the wayside.

Over a year ago I first saw my friend Anne's blog and thought...I can do that! I need to do that! Once established, I found my cousin Cherie's blog and saw that there was a genealogy based group--Geneabloggers--which I could join. I did, held on with both hands and was pulled into the world of genealogy blogging.

I am excited to have found a place to share my years of research, collecting and stories. Flipside has allowed me the opportunity to reconnect with extended family, pushed me to do further research, and given me the forum to meet some new and wonderful fellow geneabloggers.

Thank you all for your support through your comments this first year.

Blog on!
