They work on the beta site (http://fsbeta.familysearch.org), but you have to have an account and sign in. The account is free an open to everyone, but it is a major pain. Plus you can only see the certificate you were looking for and not scroll through the set anymore.
Linda I head they were moving stuff to a new server, MIA also are Michigan Marriages, I will check the beta site tho. Anne was told they would be MIA for 6 to 9 weeks. Sad, tears, wailing and whining, but, waiting. SIGHH
Remember that RecordSearch is a "pilot" site, which means they are still experimenting around. From time to time, databases are removed from sight, worked on, and then re-released. Annoying, yes. Should they notify visitors? I think so. But all in all, we are SO blessed to have access to these records most of the time!

ReplyDeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteI had to go to:
fsbeta.familysearch.org
and sign up for a free user name & password,
and found them there.
I was very confused for a few days...but this
seemed to work out for me.

Why did they change this "most excellent" and FREE site???
ReplyDeleteLinda - I didn't see Tina's comment, when I made mine...sorry to duplicate the answer! :)

ReplyDeleteSigned up, but when I enter my info on the beta site....their little icons just keep circling and circling....oh well.....
ReplyDeleteIt took me about a day for the registration to go into effect.
