Tartans of my two primary Scottish roots originating from the paternal side of my family tree. John Ferguson, born 1730 in Maryland, probably the son of Duncan (Dunkin)Ferguson, a Scottish Jacobite, who was transported to Maryland in 1716 as an slave-rebel.
Second, Robert R Houston, who arrived on American shores in 1659 from Scotland. He descends from a long line of Houstons orginating in Houston, Scotland.
