I'm off on a short vacation to Cheat Lake, outside Morgantown, West Virginia. Oddly, I don't plan to do much genealogy this trip...even though my paternal grandmother's family were Monongalia County pioneers and lived in the area for over 100 years!!! Go figure.
Instead, I plan to follow my latest passion....kayaking.....on Cheat Lake. The weather looks to be PERFECT for outside play. Okay....I will visit a couple of cemeteries and take some shots, but I don't plan to go to my usual stomping grounds....the WVU genealogical library.

It is nice that your husband and you can share this sport, and it gets you away from the computer and into fresh air. Enjoy.
