Talk about a "blast from the past"!...Wow! Talk about a "blast from the past"! I was thrilled to see this picture of Archie McGuffie Holleran, whose grandparents were Archibald McGuffie and Ann Bennet. I have been researching the Bennet genealogy for more years than I would like to admit.<br />So nice to connect a picture and a story to this distant relation. The last record I can find on him was the 1930 U.S. census, when he was living with his retired father and brother on the old family farm. Archie was listed as a bookkeeper. No grave marker, no death record to be found (online anyway), so here his image and story rise up again, just a couple of weeks before what would have been his 142nd birthday. We are still thinking of you, Archie!!!My Popp & Wagner Questhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14744860744921315937noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5559842070525209896.post-21111522369296056672011-02-25T19:31:59.490-05:002011-02-25T19:31:59.490-05:00How terrific that you found out so much informatio...How terrific that you found out so much information about Archie!Dorene from Ohiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05371522353987796175noreply@blogger.com
