I stumbled across this blog post while trying to research the Thompson Drive Bird Sanctuary, and was shocked to see my new address as one of the top results in google!

My wife and I just purchased this very house in May 2018. We were thrilled to read about your warm memories living here as well as to see the fantastic family photos that you have posted with this house as the backdrop.
Thank you for sharing these memories and photos of this place that, though decades apart, we now have in common!Bryan Pnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5559842070525209896.post-9584750231274874872018-12-24T08:12:21.736-05:002018-12-24T08:12:21.736-05:00How cool is this. My grandparents hosted many, many Christmas’s and backyard parties there with lots of grandchildren. Very happy memories for us all. We have pictures just like yours on the staircase. So, rest assured that the home was loved by our entire family for many years.

Finally, my mother was wondering if you are/were any relation to the Hughes family that lived at the corner of Thompson and Washington?AntMeghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17447767341928763774noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5559842070525209896.post-66847557638677214902016-12-02T15:24:00.346-05:002016-12-02T15:24:00.346-05:00Awesome post, sis!!!
